Country music star Pat Green reportedly suffered damages over the deaths of his brother and sister son as losses from the Texas flood continued to climb.
The San Antonio, Texas singer posted a statement on social media telling fans that his family “has suffered heartbreaking and deep personal losses.”
His wife Tori Green shared the same statement, but added more details revealing Pat’s younger brother, John Burgess, his wife Julia Anderson Burgess, whose two sons were swept in the flood.

“We are heartbroken and anxiously awaiting all of this. Thank you for your prayers,” she said.

Lorena Guillen, owner of Blue Oak RV Park, said her husband tried to help John while he clutched the tree before being swept away.
“My husband was in the water trying to ask them, ‘Please throw me your baby!’ The man grabbed his baby tightly and he was just swept away,” she told New York Post.

Green had previously postponed the scheduled concert he would perform on Saturday, and wrote in an article on his Facebook page, “Due to the weather and tragedy around the Texas Mountain countryside, he decided to postpone the concert to a later date.

“We pray to all those affected by flooding in rural Texas Mountains,” he added.
Downpour rains in several central Texas counties caused catastrophic flooding on the Guadalupe River Thursday to Friday, killing more than 100 people as of yesterday.
