But when it comes to a big day, it turns out that the dress she chose was not designed by her old friend.
Instead, the 50-year-old wore a stunning custom ivory gown designed by London Evelie Bridal and Josephine Scott. Together, they created a trombone Georgette Crepe gown with a sweetheart neckline and corset corset with a shawl and flowing into the dramatic train.
On top of that, she added a detachable jacket decorated with hand-decorated pearls to create a high neckline, while the cathedral-length veil swept through the aisles of the historic venue that had seen many royal weddings.

Designer Josephine Scott told Mirror, “Designing this dress for Mel is about capturing her fearless spirit and softness, her signature, powerful and radiant – this dress must be worth it.
“Every detail was chosen to respect her strength and sexiness while celebrating the love story under the power of women and girls.”
Although Victoria did not attend or designed dresses for her friends, she did send support messages via social media.

She made sure by sharing photos of the couple and wrote: “Congratulations @officalmelb @Rorymcphee on your special day!
“I’m excited about both of you and wish you a happy life! Kiss xx.”
The companion Mel C was also unable to attend the wedding while performing at the festival in Stockholm, Sweden, although she made sure to send the message.

Sporty Spice said she was “stricken” and missed her tribute position.
“I am so happy for you and the people who are beyond filth, I can’t be there. I’m so happy to celebrate with you soon! yippee!” she said.
Emma Bunton, aka Baby Spice, is the only member who can personally participate in the event with her husband Jade Jones and their son Beau.
