The shift to antipsychotics makes everything different, he said.

“It’s really scary when they provide it,” he said, adding, “I’m not mentally ill.”

He said he took Aripiprazole, a treatment for Tourette syndrome, as well as other conditions such as bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.

“It changed my life,” he said. “It’s really a huge, huge help.”

He said he has been receiving treatment and he has also changed other lifestyles: He has reduced drinks, changed his diet and received exercise, indicating that he has lost about 28 pounds (12.7 kg) since January.

“My anxiety levels are very low these days,” he said.

“I don’t feel stressed. I don’t know if it’s related to this (antipsychiatrics) or other options – I guess it’s a merger of things.”

He added: “I have this moment on stage, like two songs, (think) it was my last performance for a long time.”

“I need to try the rest of the show, but when I leave, I’m done.”

He said the decision made him feel “the weight has been lifted.”

“I couldn’t get back on the stage and finish the song, I was twitching in the background and started a crazy panic attack,” he said.

“In a weird way, this is probably the best thing I’ve ever had, that moment in 2023 at Glastonbury because…I’m not going to stop.”
