Erin McNaught Share the latest news about his son Obi’s recovery He underwent surgery to remove the brain tumor.

Now, she shares more details about Obi’s recovery, saying he “blew up our recovery.”

McNaught began her latest post, describing the morning they took their son for surgery to remove “he was diagnosed with his brain tumor only a few days ago.”

After the operation on June 27, Obi was discharged from the hospital.

“Stath and I woke up early and when he went to the hospital, I stayed for a while, trying to deal with what was about to happen,” she shared on Instagram.

“I stood on the balcony, watching the sunrise and crying, and I couldn’t breathe. It’s unbearable to think that this sunrise might be the last sunrise we still see here on Earth.”

She said when Obi was doing the surgery, “we went back to the balcony and watched the sunset and we cried again.”

“Since then, Obi has recovered from his recovery. Every day, more and more achievements have been made.”

The model and actress said they “still don’t know what his future is, but no one will do it again” because now they are “full of happiness, happiness and deep gratitude”.

“We brought him close, we held our big boy, we marveled at our little family, and how lucky we were. We were the hardest of each other.”

“Since then, Obi has recovered from his recovery. Every day, more and more achievements have been made.”

Besides heartfelt words, McNaught shared a compilation of videos showing Obi’s hospitalization and recovery.

In the next clip, Kotaras takes Obi to the hospital corridor, which is a bandage on the upper right side of the baby’s head, attached to a tube connected to a transplantable trolley that pushes with them.

Next, a heartbreaking image of the little boy shortly after the tumor was removed. He lay on the hospital bed, his whole head tensed, nasal tubes, ventilation and cardiac monitors.

The latest news for her son came out only a month after she first shared her son’s diagnosis.

She explained at the time that besides the decline of behavior and happiness, Obi also “meets eating, sleeping, and, lately, keeps his head looking straight”.

They brought their son to the doctor’s guidance for preventive measures and gave “heartbreaking news that Obi had a brain tumor on the right side of his brain.”

“We’ve definitely been broken, and the last few days have been our hardest days,” she said.

“Our team at Children’s Hospital in Queensland is incredible and we still hope we can eliminate the masses and get healthy and happy results. We have a long and tough road ahead of the results, but are lucky to have the support of family and friends at this point and we have been focusing on getting our little boy back.”

Next is a post two weeks later showing Obi in a stroller that was taken home after the surgery.

“It’s been over two weeks and we finally brought our Obi home,” McNatt said.

“After six hours of horror waiting, when the surgeon cleared the tumor, the subsequent tests and many horrible moments and sleepless nights, Obi is now recovering very well and the doctors are confident that they manage to clear the tumor completely.

“We have no definite results yet, so we are not completely out of the woods, but preliminary tests have left us cautiously optimistic.

“For now, we are just focusing on his recovery. Watching him laugh, playing and watching the world again because a happy baby brings us so much joy, and despite the long road ahead, we are so grateful that he no longer suffers.

“For the doctors, nurses and staff at @QueenslandChildRenshospital, we cannot exaggerate all the time we watch and care about our little boys (and us!) as well as the support and love we receive from friends, family and strangers around the world.

“We’re not working on everything that’s going on until now; similar views bring you something different; but now we’re excited to bring our little family back together.”

Obi is the youngest in McNaught, and she also shares two older children with her ex-husband, the role model of musicians, seven-year-old Evander and five-year-old Ennio.

McNaught and Kotaras welcomed their son Obi Brooks Kotaras in October 2024.
