Bono lives on the remaining plane food after his 14-year-old mother dies

U2 famous singer Bono reveals that he lives on leftovers and chocolate Mother passed away He is only 14 years old.

The 65-year-old Irish singer appeared on a podcast hosted by Ruthie Rogers, chef and co-owner of London River Café, where she discusses the role of food in the lives of guests, their favorite meals, comfort food and cooking habits.

Bono’s mother Iris died in hospital in 1974, three days after suffering a brain aneurysm at her father’s funeral. She is only 44 years old.

He has previously talked about the loss of his mother and the impact on Bono, his brother Norman and his Father Brendanhe died in 2001.

Now, he revealed that after Iris’ death, Norman will bring home the remaining air food for delivery to Bono.

“The house is two miles from the runway where my brother Norman worked for Aer Lingus,” he said.

“He has spoken and asked them to allow him to take him home from the airline.

“It’s a very exotic fare. Gummon steak and pineapple are Italian dishes we’ve never heard of, or the rice is no longer a savory experience of milk pudding but a pea.”

He said the airline’s food has changed from what he usually prepares. A can of meat, a can of beans and instant mashed potatoes.

“Recalling a teenager, food is just fuel,” he said.

“I would spend my food money on things that are more important, like Alice Cooper Hello Hoy. ”

The singer told Rogers that he had few memories of his mother “cooking or otherwise.”

“We just didn’t say her name after my mother died. So it’s hard to recall these things when you do this.”

“We certainly had kitchen table drama, and three men argued a lot because the woman at the house was gone. I remember my relationship with food changed.”

Two years after his mother passed away, Bono became one of the founding members of U2 after he became the band’s drummer Larry Mullins JNR, who posted a note on the school’s notification board in search of musicians.

He told Rogers that he and his band members only started using the money they saved by driving home instead of staying in a hotel room to dine in a nice restaurant.
