I like to think of myself as a popular culture connoisseur.
I’ve been to my concert, from Record stadium exhibition I’ve done a pretty big part on the red carpet for intimate independent performances – until tonight I thought I saw most of the content.
But on Tuesday night, I stood on the red carpet for nearly three hours The premiere of Pedro Pascal’s latest movie,,,,, Fantastic Four: Step One Let me tell you, I’ve never seen anything like that.

Now, it’s clear that Pascal is the star of the moment, and he’s in almost everything these days.
While I consider myself a big fan of Chilean actors (I seriously considered investing in blankets with his face), I don’t quite grasp the depth of love some people have for him.
When I arrived on the carpet I was taken to my position in the media area and behind me I stood a bunch of cute girls who I talked to.
It turns out that starting from Bathurst, there was a chance to discover Pascal in and around Sydney, and have been standing in the same spot since 6 o’clock, and I just arrived in their sight.
Despite this, they had no resentment towards me and even helped me set up the camera.
When I posed on the carpet pretending to be one of the stars of the movie, I wondered how tall Pascal was – my camera captured him at the right angle?

But as long as the biggest Pascal fanatic in the group immediately told me “he is 5’11” I didn’t have to doubt it and then the next hour went away from the one meter and started crying.
So I waited and waited, waiting for the stars of the movie to arrive, wondering, “Will they even notice them in all the chaos?”
That was a stupid idea.

Joseph Quinn came out first, when the crowd burst into cheers, followed by Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Vanessa Kirby.
But when Pascal walks out, I will never forget it.

Now, I’m lucky enough to get tickets to Taylor Swift’s Time Tour and witness the huge volume from the crowd when she stepped onto the stage, and I have to say that the premiere’s crowd (probably only 100-200 people) competes with the noise that echoes the entire stadium that night.
As Pascal walked out with his signature cheeky smile and a gentle wave in the crowd, I watched the volume level on the microphone absolutely soar.
He shared that this is not only his first time in Australia, but (very enthusiastic) will definitely be back.
As he walked down the barricade, fans seemed to climb almost on each other and had a chance to get close to the star.
Quinn, Moss-Bachrach and Kirby were all warmly welcomed, but said nothing compared to Pascal’s pure pandemonium.
But, with flowers that expired, the actor kept calm in the chaos, taking time to talk to fans, taking photos and sign autographs, which is one of the reasons he followed so strongly.
Even though I didn’t have a long conversation with the stars that I really liked, I did get better soon.

While other stars spend most of their time in the media, Pascal is all about fans and I have to respect him for that.
So for now, I will have to entrust the star to his promise, next time.
Until the next time, Pedro.
